JAMES BOYD
A lifelong resident of London, Jim is committed to transforming our city into a prosperous and thriving community for future generations. He advocates for housing development that prioritizes the needs of London’s residents rather than the profits of developers. By focusing on the creation of real job growth with livable wages, Jim envisions a future where individuals can work in their own town and put an end to the current "bedroom community" economy of London. He will protect public assets and stop these "giveaways" that don't benefit the community. He is dedicated to maintaining low taxes for hardworking citizens while ensuring accountability for every taxpayer dollar spent. Together, we can build a better future for London that let's our children and grandchildren prosper.

Jim has a proven record of community leadership and dedication to public service. He served eight years on London City Council (1994–2011), where he consistently put the needs of residents first. With more than 40 years of business management experience before retirement, Jim brings a strong background in accountability and results-driven leadership. He is also a co-founder of White Tiger Graphics and a past president of the Downtown Merchants Association, where he worked to strengthen local businesses and revitalize London’s historic core. Jim’s commitment to the next generation is reflected in his past service as a board member and classroom instructor for Madison County Junior Achievement, mentoring students in leadership, business, and civic responsibility.
Rooted in community, guided by experience, and dedicated to fairness, Jim is ready to represent the people of London with accountability, vision, and common-sense leadership on City Council.
